Tammy LeBlanc, Licensed Massage Therapist

Tammy has been with Gwinnett Chiropractic Associates since the summer of 2012. She has been an outstanding asset to our office and we are happy she has joined us... and so are our patients!

"I was first introduced to massage in the late 1980's. My boss at the time had a heart attack and went through a double bypass. His doctor told him after his recovery to implement a weekly massage into his schedule to help prevent anymore heart problems, as well as, release stress in his life. To this day, he is having a weekly massage and has not experienced anymore heart problems. That boss began giving me gift certificates for massage, and after my first massage, which was one of the best hours I have spent, I began thinking I wanted to look into becoming a massage therapist. I saw the positive benefits it had on my boss, and I knew through experience that I wanted to bring that positive into others lives.

It wasn't until 2005, when I became a single parent that I started researching about massage therapy. I wanted something flexible so that I could work and continue parenting alone. I was seeing how daily stress in my life was affecting myself health wise, as well as, family and friends. I wanted to do something that would help release stress/pain without using medications. I saw a need to help, as well as, educate people on the benefits of massage. Not only to help release stress, but the overall health benefits that are experienced through regular massage.

I attended Utah School of Massage Therapy. I have now been practicing massage for over 6 years. I implement different modalities on clients during the massage session. Those modalities include mainly Swedish with stretching, but also perform Deep, Sports, Prenatal, Aromatherapy and Reflexology. I am licensed in the state of Georgia, as well as, nationally licensed. I have been with Dr. Siegmund since July 2012. Working with Dr. Siegmund, I have experienced a doctor who is 100% concerned with his patients and strives to improve their well-being. I am glad to part of that improvement through massage. My goal is to continue to help and inform our patients on the benefits of regular massage so that they experience less stress and pain."
